"After witnessing the on-ground events of the Wrestlers' Protest at Jantar Mantar, and how the wrestlers have been treated there was a lot of anger in me, still is. But I don't want that anger to go in vain rather wanted it to become a transformative force. Thus, the urgency in me to register my solidarity in an means possible. For me, the words mean honesty and rigour that is essential to feminist practice. While expression and speaking one's truth is celebrated quite a lot, we also need to emphasise on listening as feminist praxis.
I felt a bit awkward holding the banner in the beginning. But then, slowly, I was standing and holding the banner more firmly. The banner was holding me as much as I was holding it.
